WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, has announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

See the information below for details on the appliance that has been recalled or a modification notice has been issued on the product:

SUB ZERO
Sub Zero is making modifications to hinges on some 600 series products.  You should call us if you have one of the following and we have not already done the work on your machine.
650 and 611 models with serial numbers between 1936094 and 2147190
611 series models with serial numbers between 1935519 and 1983762
650 series models with serial numbers between 1727124 and 1739009

WOLF
Some Wolf 48” Ranges with model numbers R48, PS48, or P48 are being reworked to prevent a delayed ignition problem with the small oven burner.  We can help you determine if your oven qualifies for this rework or you can call Wolf’s “Rework Hotline” at 1-866-643-6408, or visit the website with recall information http://www.wolfappliance.com/recall.aspx

BOSCH
Bosch is recalling dishwashers because of a potential fire hazard.  If you have a Bosch or Siemens dishwasher  with a model number beginning with the letters SHE, SHU or SL we encourage you to call the Bosch Dishwasher Hotline at 1-800-856-9226, or visit the website with the recall information http://www.boschappliances.com/safetyrecall/dishwasher/

MAYTAG

On April 12, 2010, Maytag issued a recall on 1.7 million Maytag®, Jenn‐Air®, Amana®, Admiral®, Magic Chef®, Performa by Maytag® and Crosley® brand dishwashers.

Consumers are being asked to immediately stop using the recalled dishwashers, disconnect the electric supply by shutting off the fuse or circuit breaker controlling it, inform all users of the dishwasher about the risk of fire and contact Maytag to verify if their dishwasher is included in the recall. You are instructed to contact Maytag at 1‐800‐544‐5513,
anytime, or to visit the firm’s Web site at www.repair.maytag.com to verify if your dishwasher is included in therecall.


There is a major recall of refrigerators manufactured by Maytag including several other brand names recently announced. We are unable to perform this rework but because there is a fire hazard we encourage you to contact Maytag at (866) 533-9817, or visit http://www.repair.maytag.com
