Fishermen’s Fall Festival – 9/23/17

This family-friendly festival is not only fun and educational, but helps raise money for the Seattle Fishermen’s Memorial Foundation. 2017 marks the 29th year this Seattle event has brought the community together to celebrate one of its greatest industries. Activities include live music, competitions, tours, food, and drink.

Kitsap Color Classic – 9/24/17
If you’re looking for a fun and active event in the Seattle area this fall, look no further than the Tour the Kitsap Peninsula bike ride. This September Seattle area event takes riders on a colorful tour of a beautiful autumn landscape. Choose from a 25, 39 or 57-mile ride along the Puget Sound. Registration fees go towards bike education and safety programs in the area.

Zoo Boo – 10/14-16/17
Dress your kids up for this fall-themed weekend at the Point Defiance Zoo and watch the animals design their own jack-o-lanterns! Have fun at several different stations set up, including Pumpkin Weight Guess and Weird & Wacky Smells. New this October is a community sculpture contest!

Seattle Turkey Trot
What better way to start off Thanksgiving Day than be running or walking a 5k? The 11th annual Seattle Turkey Trot takes racers through the scenic neighborhood of Sunset Hill and finishes in Golden Gardens Park. Even better, all proceeds help the Ballard Food Bank.
